Mac Will Replace Intel Processors With Series A Chips In 2020 Or 2021

For those of you loyal users of Apple products there is now the latest news which is rumored that Apple will replace Intel processors with the series A chip set that has been embedded on Mac products made by it. This series A chip as it is known is commonly used on the iPhone and iPad.

The news about replacing Intel processors to the A series chips has long been heard a few years ago. An industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, better known as an observer of Apple products, again said the same thing.

Ming-Chi Kuo or familiarly called Kuo predicts that Apple will replace the Intel processor that has been used on Mac laptops with an A series ARM chip around 2020 or 2021. There are at least three reasons why Apple is replacing Intel processors with A series chips including them.

The first reason, the A series chip with ARM architecture is more powerful with a very good graphics processing system, besides this processer is also supported by artificial intelligence and has many CPU cores that can work alternately depending on the load and processing tasks.

Reason Two, the A series chip has been tested for use on the iPhone and has a very good performance for the size of a mobile device.

Replaced Intel processors (x86 architecture) to the A series architecture with ARM architecture, of course Apple will save more on the production costs of the Macbook and also more homogenize its products.

By homogenizing all the products made, Apple can have full control of all its products, both from the hardware and software used on the MacBook.

In addition, Apple has also obtained an ARM architecture license so that Apple is free to design the CPU they want based on needs.

This is what Apple has been doing on the A series chip that carries the CPU, it is known that this CPU is made by Apple.

The third reason, based on information compiled from The Register, Saturday (10/20/2018) Apple can reduce its dependence on Intel in meeting its needs for processors. For example, it was reported earlier that Intel had problems in chip production.
