Through a press conference yesterday the company explained the design of the LG ThinQ V40 in detail. It was explained that the LG ThinQ V40 will carry 5 cameras, two front cameras and three cameras behind. However, the company did not explain in detail about the superiority of the camera on the LG ThinQ V40. They are more focused on explaining the new glass body of the LG ThinQ V40 handset.
LG revealed on the glass LG ThinQ V40 reinforced with a subtle nuance which makes the wearer more comfortable when holding it. The company claims that they are able to maintain the "soft touch" of the LG ThinQ V40 with a sand blast method. In addition, they also explained that the LG ThinQ V40 glass did not add any film so that the strength and hardness were the same as tempered glass.
LG ThinQ V40 comes in matte color finishing. In the promotional video the LG ThinQ V40 device is equipped with Carmine red color. The company explained that the carmine red warrants were chosen because they looked more saturated than the raspberry colors of their predecessors the V-series handsets. The LG ThinQ V40 will come in a gray platinum color variant and a new blue slash.
LG revealed that the ThinQ V40 has the same width as its predecessor the LG V30 but has a much slimmer bazel. The ThinQ V40 has a 6.4 inch screen and the handset that is presented will be lighter so that the wearer is comfortable even when used with one hand.
